About

As a direct and urgent response to COVID-19’s impact on Australia’s creative workforce, The Little Red Company pivoted to create The IsoLate Late Show (TILLS); a free, live weekly variety show bringing the cream of Australia’s musical and theatre talent into locked-down living rooms via Facebook Live every Friday night for 10 weeks.
Within 48 hours of the Federal Government’s national venue closures announcement, TLRC mobilised a team of 25 professionals across music, theatre and the creative industries to join the theatre company’s first foray into live broadcast. Across 10 weekly 90-minute live-streamed shows, TILLS raised an incredible $110,000 for the Actors’ and Entertainers’ Benevolent Fund (QLD) for distribution to Queensland artists facing financial hardship.
Queensland’s first couple of song, Naomi Price and Luke Kennedy, fronted the show, which featured a cast of eight regular singers and musicians, plus Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra. Each episode featured celebrity cameos and performances with Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Marcia Hines, Katie Noonan, John Paul Young, Sheppard, Darren McMullen, Brian Cadd, Prinnie Stevens, Mahalia Barnes, Esther Hannaford, Sam Perry, Simon Pryce from The Wiggles and the casts of SIX The Musical, Swing on This and The Book of Mormon making guest appearances.
