Little Red launches new education program
With enormous thanks to our generous friends and supporters who attended Little Red’s 10th Anniversary Gala earlier this year, we are proud to formally launch our new education program, Little Red Pathways!
Little Red Pathways pairs industry-leading professional artists with schools and early career artists to assist in improving performance and academic results.
Since the program’s inception in April, we have connected with over 120 secondary schools across Queensland and have delivered masterclasses in Songwriting, Notated Composition, Script Writing, Show Development, Group Performances and Solo Performance Technique.
This term, students have been lucky enough to receive tuition and guidance from Little Red artistic director Naomi Price, Little Red Pathways program coordinator Luke Kennedy andHelpmann Award-winner Mat Verevis. We are looking forward to a huge Term Three and extending our reach to North Queensland when our acapella TikTok queen Alex Van den Broek ventures north to work with schools in Townsville. Here in Brisbane, we’ll enjoy the debut of a brand new student-devised music work mentored by Naomi Price.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave so generously at Little Red’s 10th Anniversary Gala – this program has only been made possible by you and your belief in the next generation of artists. Thank you all!
We are taking bookings now for Term Three and Term Four – reach out today to Little Red Pathways program coordinator Luke Kennedy to get your students booked in!
