The Little Red Company, La Boite Theatre and Brisbane Festival are looking for four talented performers to play the roles of Fancy and their friends in this brand-new glittery and vibrant musical adventure for children, based on a new picture book by Brisbane’s international tinsel and craft icon, Rachel Burke.

We are actively seeking performers who identify as neurodivergent to audition for the role of Fancy.

For all four roles, we are open to expressions of interest from performers aged 20-30 of all gender identities, cultural backgrounds and access requirements. All performers will need to be great singers and actors, with strong movement and dance skills preferred. Due to the nature of theatre for young people, these roles would be more suited to performers without auditory sensitivity; however the team are open to working with actors to find accessible solutions.

Applications are by submission online, with an invitation to audition in person extended to those shortlisted.
