Little Red’s vibrant and soulful celebration of individuality, sisterhood and the unifying power of music shines through the iconic Sister Act soundtrack in the Matilda Award-nominated Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves.
Relive the joy of the Sister Act soundtracks live on stage, brought to life by a celestial cast of divine divas including Rebecca Selley, Irena Lysiuk, Alisha Todd, Angela Fabian and Danielle Bedville backed by Little Red’s electrifying live band including Mik Easterman (drums), OJ Newcomb (bass), Damian Sim (piano) and JaZZella (guitar).
Featuring heaven-sent hits from Diana Ross and the Supremes, Lauryn Hill and Tina Turner including Joyful Joyful, Oh Happy Day, I Will Follow Him, My Guy (My God), His Eye is on the Sparrow, Rescue Me and more, Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves will melt the clouds of sin and sadness and leave you holy satisfied.
Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves embarks on a 2025 Queensland Tour supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves premiered at Brisbane Powerhouse in February 2022.

Choir director Alex Van den Broek will work with community choirs across Queensland to deliver a high-octane finale for Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves featuring local artists in each location. These choirs include:
