ANNOUNCING THE LITTLE RED STUDIO!

The Little Red Company is thrilled to announce the Little Red Studio - a newly renovated light-filled, purpose-built rehearsal and movement space designed to support a wide range of creative and professional uses.

The Little Red Studio is located on Level 3 of Judith Wright Arts Centre in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Bathed in natural light from the expansive windows of this beautifully restored heritage industrial building, the room combines practicality with atmosphere, ideal for dance rehearsals, creative developments, music theatre workshops, auditions, fitness and wellbeing classes, creative residencies, arts training programs, professional development sessions, corporate workshops and community activities.

The Little Red Studio measures 14 metres by 8 metres and features include a sprung floor with Tarkett dance flooring, full-length mirrors, ballet barres and integrated audio playback system. Adjustable curtains allow the space to be configured to suit a variety of uses, while excellent acoustic treatment and soundproofing ensure a private and focused environment.

Little Red’s Artistic Director Naomi Price says this new space is a game-changer for the company. “We are delighted to acquire this new space as part of Queensland Government’s $10m upgrade of this iconic heritage-listed building. The Judy has been our home for six years and having a permanent creative space of our own represents a transformative new chapter for Little Red. It gives us the capacity to deepen our investment in artists, expand our training and rehearsal programs, and welcome more people than ever into our creative community."
